Door Closer - DC 3016BC
Vimberry offers a range of VDC door closers with ADA compliance (Americans with Disabilities Act), that complies at least 5 seconds to close from the fully open position at 90 degrees to approximately 12 degrees as the main closing cycle of the door to provide a safe door closing for all pedestrians including children and the elderly. The opening force of interior ADA doors must also be less than 2.27kg of force.

The VDC series DC3016 door closers use the highest quality materials including the most durable springs and O-ring seals. In fact, the VDC door closers are certified Grade 1 by ANSI /BHMA, meaning it has been tested for over 2 million door cycles, the highest grade possible for a door closer.
The VDC series DC3016 are ideal for any commercial door type including hollow metal steel doors, commercial wood doors, and storefront aluminum doors.
MAIN FEATURES
The VDC series DC3016 can be installed on fire rated doors. Heavy duty diecast aluminum body ensuring a long product life span and door closer arm is constructed from forged steel, preventing the door arm from bending under tension or load.
Adjustable spring power size makes this door closer suitable to be used for either a commercial interior light door or exterior heavy doors by a single device.

OPTIONS
- Delayed Action function, is recommended for all ADA entrances, that controls the time the door remains in the fully open position. It is a great safety feature which allows elderly or handicap pedestrians to have enough time to carefully pass through the doorway, without having the door close on them too soon.
- Hold Open Arm, to keep the door open permanently.
- Parallel Arm, positioned parallel to the door when it’s closed, making it less visible and more aesthetically pleasing, comparing by Standard arm.
- Cover, a protective casing, that shields the internal mechanism and enhances the appearance of the door closer.
